This is a subreddit where people submit ideas for genetic modification (regardless of utility or sanity) and we may discuss whether why the idea will not work or we discover a way that could dramatically change industry or ecology. Either or.

For pretending that perfectly logical ideas are crazy, so that /r/crazyideas doesn't get filled with rational ideas. Also for being passive-aggressive about stupid shit that people actually do.
